David & Deryn Wedding at Castle Fraser, Aberdeenshire
I first met Deryn back in 2011 when I photographed her, her sister and their horses. Fast forward to 2019 and I had the pleasure of capturing Deryn & Davids amazing day. Their celebrations started at the stunning Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire where they tied the knot of with friends, family and a big green John Deere. The day was sunny and warm, perfect for their guests to enjoy drinks and canapés by Country Flavours of Alford. The gardens of Castle fraser is a playground for a photographer, the walled garden orchard and surrounds offer so many location for taking family pictures and the couples portraits.
After the formals we then head to Tullynessle and Forbes Public Hall just outside the village where Deryn & David live. The hall was lovely and a perfect size to host everyone. Also big enough for Bahookie, their band, to come and rock the place as they always do! The dance floor was barely empty the whole night. The sign of a great band.
