I have never photographed the same dress twice! Nope, never. Every bride, in my mind picks the perfect dress for them. I have never thought “Nah, that is not the right dress for you”. Chelsea dress was no different, it was perfect! The amazing Ian Stuart dress with a slight alteration on sleeves was perfect. As for Paul, well, when I seen him at first wearing his Marc Darcy tweed suit, he looked epic. I love a kilt but I have to admit, the tweed suit is making me think about my own wedding and if I should wear a kilt or a tweed suit.

The day was shaping up to be hot and sunny! The weather in April has been unpredictable, one week it was a foot of snow then a couple of days later 20c+ temperatures.

The wedding was at the beautiful Maryculter House hotel and always lovely catching up with the fantastic Peter Walker who recently moved from Meldrum house to Mayculter. The room was set up (Game of thrones theme), the outside seats were full of guests and it was time to go. Chelsea’s own grandfather was marrying them and what a special moment that was, who wonderful to have your own grandfather marry you.

From the start to the very end, they day was wonderful. With amazing food (banquet style) to the evening dancing, it was epic. As surprisingly, with a free bar the whole day. the guests behaved themselves.
