A Summer's Day in Sandvik

Finally arrived for a short two and a half days in Iris home village, Sandvik. It has been a whirlwind three days. We had our first plane trip with baby James (Stressful), the day after arriving we had a pre-wedding shoot early in the morning which we surprisingly arrived on time for. When I say "we", I mean all three of us, baby James was in a baby sling with Iris and behaved throughout the whole shoot. Baby James got to meet his great grandparents for the first time which was an emotional experience.

We have now had two days in Sandvik, we had some relaxation and taught up on emails & editing. Tomorrow we are heading back north where we have a wedding on Saturday. This will be Iris first full day away from baby James, he will be in great hands with the grandparents. On Monday I am flying back to Scotland without Iris and Baby James, it's a busy couple of weeks with weddings & workshops but I am very excited for my return on the 27th July where I will be taking my parents for the first time.
