Daisy all around: Neil & Emma Agnew

Walking into the room where all the ladies are getting ready and I am greeted with hair dryers, curlers, hair spray and giggling women.  There is no doubt, they are all very excited  and they should be,  as today Emma gets to marry her man, Neil. Their venue: Banchory Lodge Hotel is basking in the spring sunshine and it is looking to be an absolutely beautiful day. Wedding guest staying at the hotel are now wandering the grounds and greeting me with smiles and hello's.  Most of their guests are up from the Liverpool area and are in awe of the beautiful surrounds and so impressed with Neil and Emma's choice of venue.

During the ceremony as the gorgeous bridesmaids enter the room with the orchestra version of "use somebody" by kings of Leon, Emma enters and everyone is taken back at the beautiful dress and the biggest grin on her face. The ceremony was filled with laughs all round, a beautiful handfasting and many guests crying with happiness, these two are surrounded by so much joy, love and friendship.

The remaining day was much the same, their guest all posing for photographs, topping up the tan with the stunning sun and sipping drinks all round.  Neil, Emma and I escaped for 10 minutes to capture these two alone and they did not disappoint. Wrapping each other in their arms, the smiles and the enjoyment of each other allowed me to capture just who they are.  We managed to head outside later in the evening and make the most of the beautiful golden light.

The evening lived up to the rest of the day. Great music from Ghillie Dhu folk & ceilidh band. With many learning to Ceilidh dance for the first time and making a huge mess of it, that is what is great about Ceilidh's though, you can get it all wrong but still have fun.  Their polaroid photo booth was a huge hit with everyone making the most of the props.

To end the evening on a high and receive many hugs from the guest when leaving, I cannot wait to see them after the honeymoon and relive the wedding through my photographs.
